- Post-emergent Broadleaf Weed Killer should be applied earlier in the month or in late February.
(apply when temperature is above 70 during daytime) - Look for Grub Worms from March through August.
Visible lawn grub damage can be seen from late summer to early fall. Look for irregular brown patches of lawn that peel away easily from the soil, like carpet. - Install Mulch in landscaped areas.
Mulch not only makes your landscaped areas more attractive but it also provides protection for the plant’s root system, retains moisture, and keeps the soil cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
- Second application of Pre-emergent Broadleaf Weed Killer should be applied at the beginning of April.
- Fertilize with 15-5-10 fast release fertilizer. (1 lb Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft.)
- Water 1 inch per week from April through June.
- Look for Grub Worms from March through August.

- Fertilize with 21-7-14 slow release fertilizer. (2 lb Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft.) around the middle of May.
- De-thatch and core-aerate if needed. This needs to be performed when grass is actively growing.
- Water daily for first week and then twice a week.
- Look for Grub Worms from March through August.

- Prepare your lawn for winter by applying a “Winterizer” fertilizer in October and/or December.

- Water every 2 weeks unless there is rainfall in December thru March.
- Prepare your lawn for winter by applying a “Winterizer” fertilizer in October and/or December.
- Prune Trees that are causing shade problems around the last week of January or the first week in February.
